Just put a bumble bee stripe around the nose of the Datto and buy that LS1 crossmember that's on ebay and turn the coupe into a mini Camaro. Will save you heaps of $$$.

But seriously I totally respect your desire for some American muscle.....my little Datto shares it's home with some

So what type of ride are you thinking of buying?

mine is a controversial choice probably, but a Gen 3 Camaro - 1982-92. hoping to get one RHD around 12k mark and then drop the LS1 in

Yeah not my favourite ( I had an 83 Camaro Berlinetta for a couple of years) but they are one of very few American V8's that you can pick up for reasonable dollars.

Noticed this one at Grays.online in Dandenong. Auction ends today and at 8k with no bids.

P.S. My neighbour runs a business in Carrum Downs that buys and sells a lot of Holden LS1 and LS2 wrecks for engine conversions,so give me a yell when your in the market.

Good luck with it.

So. I ended up putting a 32/36 on this but it started running crap and i shelved the car for like the last year. Now i want to revive it so im going to do the quad throttle body efi.

I have a haltech ps1000 i didnt end up using on my CA. Just need to scrounge all the parts to make it all work

Any ideas on coil, engine position sensor and fuel system (neat way to do a coupe) greatly appreciated?

Anyone making ready to go setups for these things?

I got this baby running over summer, then the breaks seized on the way to a Datsun BBQ

Brakes now fixed, but temps were climbing at traffic lights, I need to go over the cooling system before it can really cruise again. although it only has a 10" thermo so adding a bigger thermo might fix the whole issue

will try to upload some new pics of my coupes soon!

Does it still have the standard origonal radiator ?
I think my EFI set up ( aka Simons ) is about as simple as It gets.
