Anyone ever cruise down the Gold Coast ?

I have, its awsome especially at night because you can see a lot of stars, what is even better is cruising throgh the santa cruz mountains because of it's very windy roads

I mean the Gold Coast QLD Australia cause I don't see any stars just v8's and turbo's.

Having done the Santa Cruz run down the HWY18 about 20 times, I find it makes me dizzy...

I especially like the Los Gatos Service Station that opens until very late at night, when I was driving that stretch of road on my own one night, no cell phone, no hope The low petrol warning light totally stressed me out.

Gold Coast is a nice drive too. But I felt like people were just casing your car to steal it. I've heard car theft is pretty hot up there. Even worse than Sydney. Anyone know if that's true? I've heard the Mazda and Datto scene is pretty active...as is the VL Turbo "sik mate" crowd.

Very true the car theft is very bad and they do follow you but they mainly go for Commodores so the commodore boy's are all trading them in on Silvias (I'm so sick of seeing silvias) I live about 20 minutes north of the coast and one night someone tried to steal my torana out of my front yard but this isn't the place for this thread .

Will send you a pm when I take my datto down one night. Just looking to head down and pop the bonnet in broadwater for the sponsors.
