I have my 1972 1200 up for sale for $1500 OBO plus delivery. I have cleaned up the inside and engine compartment. I repaired some rust where the front bumper mounts. There are some areas that still need some work for rust repair that I have pictures for, at the hood hinge areas, and base of the wheel arches. The floor pans are in great shape and the underside is in good shape too. I have all the parts to convert over to the A14 and 5 speed except the diff spacer and gaskets. The engine came from a b310 with 78k miles and sat for a long time so I took it apart and had it cleaned. I put new rings and honed the cylinders, new bearings and seals. I lapped and cleaned the head, sand blasted and clear coated the exhaust manifold with high heat paint. The block was painted with high heat paint also. Oil pan and valve cover have been sand blasted, washed and painted also. The interior was removed and all the glue removed from the rear wheel arches. I removed the jack mount in the rear for a rear mounted battery that never got installed. All the tires are in good shape and the original spare is also in great shape. The passenger side has been badly repaired by the previous owner, you can see that in the pictures. The fuel tank has been removed and coated and the reinstalled. The seat have been motified from a Dodge Avenger to bolt right in and are in great shape and the rear seats just need new covering. all the panels are included but the rear panels are cracked up. The hood grills are there but are also cracked up. Over all, for the cars age, it is in good shape and a great starting point for a fun little ride. I just have way too many other projects and this one has to go. The breaks have been gone though and newer pads and rear wheel cylinders where installed. I have many extra engine parts and lots of pictures. I would be willing to deliever as I am not working right now. I DO NOT want any trades. I am not going to part this out. I have gone to the DMV and registered the but I do not hold a title as DMV won't issue one with out a break and light inspection and that is not possible since the car in not in running condition. I will give the new owner a bill of sale and statment of facts that are legal documents from the DMV. The car was put on non-op, too.

I am selling my Datsun 1200 project. It has been upgraded to an A14 engine and 5 speed. The engine has just been rebuilt and the tranny was a junk yard pull from a low mileage 310. This is a project and is in need of final fabrication work such as the engine mounts modified for the engine, tranny mount for the 5 speed, needs exhaust made but I have the end that matches the exhaust manifold, the brakes have been gone through as of this year and the e-brake works, all of the fuel lines and brake lines need to be done, there is some rust repair needed but the floor boards and pan are in great shape, the rust areas are in the wheel wells and the hood hinge areas. I have put alot of work into this car and the price is fair considering the rare nature of the car. I have all the glass just needs some new rubber to install the side windows. I have all the inside panels but the rear plastic ones are rough. The seats are out of a dodge avenger and are in very good condition, the rear seat is in need of new covering because the previous owner to me covered it in cheap fabric, you can get matching fabric from most upholstery shops. It comes with 2 electronic distributors, 4 intakes one of which is an R6 yamaha TBI setup that could be modded for EFI, and on of the stock intakes has been modded with 2 injectors, also comes with stock carburetor, this is a 99% complete car ... now for the paper work... I got this car on a salvage title sale because the previous owner bought it from a junk yard. It is now in my name but I do not have a pink slip because it needs to be road worthy and inspected by CHP then DMV will issue a Pink. It is on non op and a bill of sale with a statement of fact will be as good as a pink. I do have the DMV papers to prove ownership so this is not some shady deal. The car could be road worthy in a month or 2 depending on the time and money you have to get her going. This car also comes with a repair manual and a racing build guide specific for this car. I am not looking for any trades.
