Hey guys,i just installed a reconditioned A56 4speed into my 1978 datsun ute.when i went for a Testdrive the back of the gearbox started ringing like a bell at the tailpeice of the gearbox,i suspect it is the bushing,but i'm not sure and dont want to remove the gearbox if i'm not sure what the problem could be.

"it floats,it goes,it is now registered and has a hin number.very usable classic half cab.datsun 1200 motor and vauxhall 3 speed gearbox,or will also negotiate for a twin diesel yanmar that i have that would be an easy retro fit.good trailer with disc brakes that cost $800,so boat is cheap."
