Good evening

I believe,searching through this web site, that I have a Cherry E10 model head.

If I am wrong please let me know.

I do not know what they are worth but if it is a Early A12T Head then I suspect it is worth a bit.

If your interested please send me an Expression of Interest via this site.

Thank you for your time.

The four holes under the inlet ports transfered hot coolant into the water jacket under the inlet manifold.
The GX was a street model in a country where it snows, so it is necessary to ensure complete vaporisation of the liquid fuel by the simple expedient of manifold heating.

Regular models do it by using the exhaust manifolad hot spot under the carb.

From my memory of looking into this on wiki the "gx" head and A12T heads had different nissan part numbers in the catalogs but measure up to be identical castings, ports, valves etc.

Yes, Dodgeman is the expert on the GX. I might add that there are two A12T engines

* early A12T is like the A12GX
* late A12T w/o oil passage hole, for 1974-up blocks

although early A12T and GX castings look identical there may be some difference we haven't noticed. Or maybe those Prince engineers just had to use their own part number instead of the Datsun part number

Dodgeman is a real life version of the complete Nissan 1000 and 1200 parts catalog :)
