I took the 120y out on the freeway for the first time today. That JDM speedo cluster has a buzzer that sounds as you pass a nominal 105km/h! That was at an actual 98km/h. The noise is somewhere between cute and annoying. If I can't recalibrate it to say 115km/h, I'll probably have to disable it.

Is that similar to the odd 'dinging' sound that is in the old AE85's and 86's? Like a higher tone doorbell?

I've been told by several that (back in the day) drivers in Japan were going along the freeway with the chime constantly sounding as a normal thing. I always was amused thinking about that

I still have one set with an econometer which I'm keeping.
I may one day would like to have a B210 with square gauges.
