MSD Ignition For A15

hey looking to install a msd ignition on an A15 electronic dizzy, wired it up but the motor wont switch off, any info on this would be helpful.
Used the instructions form the wiring diagram, does any specific wire have to connect to the ignition switch?

There any many different types of MSD ignition units, but many have 1) a black Ground/earth wire, 2) a thick red BAT wire, and 3) a thin red IGN wire. You can connect the IGN wire to any wire in the IGN circuit such as the back of the Ignition Switch, the Fuse Box or the original factory Coil+/Resistor+ wire

If you get the two red wires mixed up it may cause the engine to keep running when the key is turned to OFF

Or after you attach the MSD wires to the Coil but leave the original factory wires attached to the coil, it may keep running
