Skid Factory tests NIS016 with fully-programmable ignition and finds it doesn't make appreciable HP gain. At a certain max-HP RPM it was pretty much the same

Points distributor can be adjusted for max HP easy enough, so it's not surprising. But what about at lower RPMS? The programmable ignition may be doing better. I think it would only help acceleration if the timing is optimized at all RPMs

The test was done with twin webers and what looks like an SR20-type CAS
