Toyota actually copied this body design for the 1978 Dyna.
Toyota R series L4 gas engines in the Dyna where 3 bearings!
NIssan used used 5 bearings for their R16 and H20 and would

Take a look at a U20 crankshaft, its bearings are larger than
the L series and the rear flange is just gobsmacking

On further research its a Prince design engine and truck
so Prince were way ahead of their time with also UD series
truck enginse in the drawing room which Nissan absorbed
