Look like a 1967 version (alumi grille with upright emblem). One of the first brochures then perhaps of the 4-door? Datsun 1000 debuted April 1966 with the 4-door coming April 1967

Unusual in that section headings are in English though text is in Japanese. The rubber stamp on the front appears to be from a Sunny Shop

Biased comment but unless you owned one you wouldnt know
that the B series is the most efficient, reliable and durable
budget Nissan car ever made after the Flying Feather.

Vs the 1200 its rusts less, same wheelbase, better front suspension,
lighter, better visibility due to thinner pillars all round and
big engine bay lends itself even to a chev v8 not that its recommended

If only Rallytwit would race a B10 he would never look back even fitting
factory 121hp ca16de would still save weight over a 1200 coupe with an A15.
78mm bore x 83.6mm stroke with webers, nismo headers, cams can get 160+hp
which thanks to local Hiroshi-san made me aware that it is basically the
exact bore stroke to Mazda B6 engine!!! meaning ca16de heads would be very
possible to fit onto an A series.

https://www.nissanforums.com/e-ca-seri ... where-ca16de-pistons.html

The new CA block design was a scaled-up E series block with timing shaft and other ancillaries removed. The oil pump is fitted directly onto the crank nose and the distributor is driven by the end of the camshaft. Like the E series and the A block from which the E was derived, the CA was designed to be compact and light, with a CA16 requiring only 195 litres (52 US gal; 43 imp gal) of space (compared to 280 litres (74 US gal; 62 imp gal) for the earlier Z16)

70% the size and weight of a Z16, brilliant overlooked version of the CA.

I remember reading somewhere that the reason the 1000 had less rust problem is because it was made in the Zama factory where they treated all sheet metal with a special coating. Don't know how true that is (the only 1000 I've ever seen had a lot of rust ...)

The AUS brochure was prepared by "Foreign Trade Division, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. ... Tokyo". They also made versions of the same brochure in other languages

And used the same photo session in other adverts. well kinda scary opening the door for a lady with large trucks zooming by
