Recessed firewall 60mm used the original piece that cut out only as to keep the look stock as I can. Had a old tunnel I made for a ke20 I cut out so chopped it up and made it fit, wasn't how I wanted to make this one but turned out ok so happy with it.

I want a plazmaman plenum but can afford one so made a intake manifold today, it's rough but a quick job and a 68mm ford mustang $50 ebay special tb . Havnt used the tig in 5 years but was good to rip it out.

Great to see this build gaining momentum again.

Where did you buy that intercooler/radiator setup from?

Love your intake manifold to. Who needs Plazmaman Not you!

Hi cadet1200 i bought it from a guy. It was a custom ARE cooling setup made like 20years ago and if you Google ARE dataun 1200 ca18det something like that and images you might find a pic or go to there website and will find some old pics. I wish i had a plazmaman manifold as they neat as.
I've been so busy with new house, moving setting up shed pool etc etc. No money or time for this project but back to it now.

Plazmaman? I prefer the purpose build look than
lady like finishes. If you worry about your welds
at last resort you can crinkle finish it to match
your rocker cover. All looks great from here.

Thanks D I probably will paint it now and wrinkle finish is not a bad option I never done it before but I'm sure I can master it

had to cut off the exhaust manifold turbo flange and rotate it as turbo hit the strut tower due to engine being back alot. Done the intercooler pipe to engine but only got 3inch silicon joiners so have to order couple 2.5in ones as turbo compressor is 2.5 anyway.
