I have an A14 running an E15 distributor and, as it has a very light flywheel, I want to add a rev limiter to stop over rev. What limiters are people using? Is the E15 CDI, as a couple of ones I'm looking at say not for CDI?
Thanks
Greg

I'm not sure many of us are running them. The Isky valves springs don't float till over 9000 rpm and the cam I'm running signs off at 8400.You can feel the motor flatten out.

Try the Datsun 1200 facebook page perhaps Peter Zekert can answer, I think he's running A-series engines to 9K.

CDI is an ignition SYSTEM -- the E15 distributor can be used with CDI or with a regular ignition system. All factory E15 engines used regular ignition

If you are using E15 distributor with the stock internal ignitor, it is not CDI
