This 1971 Datsun 1200 was acquired from the previous owner who is a Datsun collector. The previous owner repainted the car several years ago. The car has zero rust. Originall front and rear bumpers were Re chromed. The steering box was recently rebuilt. All electrical components are fully functional including, gauges, lights, wipers, and original radio. A set of 14" polished "Shelby" wheels were mounted, along with new tires. Still have original 12" wheels. The 1200 has its original numbers matching A12 engine, paired with a four speed manual transmission. The classic runs amazing.
I'm a Datsun Collector and know Datsun 1200's Coupe's are difficult to locate in the states. Not many were imported back in the 70's. Clean CA title.

KB110 looks good from any angle doesn't it I like everything about this Coupe, but im not crazy about the wheels. Is a fine example of a stock 1200 and the wheels can be fixed easily enough either different alloys or back to stock Is that a ROH mesh? The ad says "shelby" but i don't recall Shelby American making a wheel like that. Looks to be a 2-piece (alloy center with steel rim)

...a slight wasp-waist constriction at the doors which swelled out again in the rear quarters
1977 Datsun 180B GL sedan in a perspective that highlights the 'Coke bottle' style
and the 1970 Datsun Sunny  i never consciously noticed the slight wasp-waist and fender swelling until now on the other hand the swelling on the 2-door sedan kinda bothers me. maybe the primary reason it looks homely  is it the same "hop-up" that the coupe has? it looks better with a pinstripeAttach file:

I could never compare the tudor with the coupe
they are both beautiful in every way.
I would take a tudor sedan though with jdm styling
just because they are rarer in Japan and there is
just something about the rounded box style car
and maybe why bmw ever bothered with fastback styling.
In time it will likely be more feasible to 3d print
the whole body or shell one of these beauties in some
kind of hybrid material like carbontanium and a
small AY series v8 in alum engine with 6 seq speed.
To preserve that coke bottle styling for ever.
Cars today are so transformer and fugly its sad
(new Corvette even recent Honda Nsx for example)
Its like when you study Tartarian architecture
then compare for whats in stall for smart cities
where everything is autonomous and lifeless.
Using your hands produced beauty while using
computers does the opposite.

so transformer ... makes me think of the current Civic, or is that so Gundam? it's so fugly it's cool  that reminds me im seeing more and more kei cars here now, was behind a blip-blip (revving motor sounds) Honda kei truck last night And more and more katakana stickers and license plate frames. It's like that old movie And the timeless classic of the KB110

Interior looks very nice. Only the sun-scorched shifter lets you know the real age
All USA 1200s have the GL features of *) safety steering column and *) round-gauge dash
