Ignoring the Elephant in the room (no engineer) I am moving ahead with the shell restoration.
Doors Doors Doors ... yes I have about 20 .... are any good?

Well none are perfect so it's good to have a stock to pick from. I bought a Shrinking Disc and have some hammers and dollies so I can set forth bravely to ruin stuff on the path to fixing some.

I do have to thank the following for the better doors that I will be fixing:
Front Passenger Side: Crumb (Mik's old orange sedan)
Rear Drivers side: Zigmondo - off that old blue sedan you salvaged part off
Rear Passenger Side: Benny - old green door sent to me years ago
Front Drivers Side: the Ute I salvaged parts off some years ago (How many times has this door been painted???)
Here's some photos :)

A couple of months and more gardening than I had hoped but some progress on this one.

Got most of the work done on the doors with Hammer / Dolly / various machines / (& some but not a lot of bog).
Also my engineer has reappeared in a new company - I think the owner of the old company retired and closed so two of the employees have started up a new company and they are happy to continue with the build ... YAY!!!!

Here's some photos... Shell and doors in Epoxy (so they don't absorb more moisture) and an addition to the family of tools - I now know that I have absolutely no TIG welding skills

Progress yay! I'm looking forward to seeing that SR20DET in the engine bay.

P.S. Nice looking TIG machine, hopefully you'll harness the power and be stacking dimes soon!

SR20DET BLACK TOP out of a wrecked 180SX. The previous owner had it reconditioned 6 months before he decided to get too close to the car in front. I sold the rest off and kept the drive train.

Pretty slow progress. Mainly dealing with the doors.

I did manage to get a bit more green down and intend to do the inside of the doors and get them on.

Getting the doors straight(ish) and patched/filled was one thing ... getting the body lines right has been a pain. Youtube to the rescue again :)

Still looking for an R31 diff and considering front suspension (as well as looking at ECU's) ... this is where the $$$ are gonna start to mount up!
