That's right I am the fool who purchased a set without asking enough questions. You will need special push rods which I am understanding to be NLA Yella Terra will not volunteer that info. You must remember to ask.

I thought you could use a "universal" pushrod kit for Chevy smallblock? You cut them to length yourself.

I am having some pushrods made to length from VW pushrods and using the a series cups. They sit the turned down cup shaft on a ledge in the alloy. Custom made to your length and cheap.

The Yella Terra stuff it really is very good quality.

Anyone who has been following the roller rocker thread would have picked up the info about Y.T. selling their pushrod tooling to "Head Stud Developments" in Melbourne. Crow cams also provide pushrods to customer order, along with the new offerings from Feral, which sound like a bloody good deal to me.

I suspect that the adjustment screw is likely to be a Chevy pattern one, so ddgonzal will also be right on the money again for US users of these rockers.

It has never been a secret that custom pushrods are required with there rockers. Coming up with pushrods will be inconvenient, & another cost impost, but if thats the only problem, then we got no problem.

Ok all,
I took the whole assembly to my local engine building shop Burbank Speed Shop. They will be able to make the rods for me once I figure out the exact length I need. I will have to cut down a SBC rod to make a pattern that he will use to determine length. Any one out there done this before? Any one know the correct length for the A15 motor? If not, I will be finding out shortly and will post the length needed.

As you can see here

Mine are Crow Cams 6.650 inches long 80 thou wall thickness Cro Mo
However this length is to suit my head with double valve springs and different installed heights.....longer valves.
Yours will probably vary due to installed heights, shaving of head etc etc.
Use this as a guide only.

Dattoman,
Thats a great and informative website. If I had read everything you had written the first time I'd be miles ahead by now!
My rocker kit came with a 2 piece shaft. Is that how yours came? I assume it will work fine. I just have to get to it. Im havin so much fun driving the car that I dont want to take it apart to do the mods. I know it will run better once I do.
Also are the A14 block the same height as the A15's? The A15 has a longer stroke by .250 in. Does that mean the block is taller?
