i have 1973 datsun 1200 that was involved in accident leaving my left chassis leg damaged. I am wondering if any one knows any other nissan car other than the 1200 that share the same dimentions, any help would be appreciated as it is very hard, near to impossible to find a 1200 were i live

The Datsun 1200 Crossmember is specific to the 1200. And I do believe this reflects on the uniqueness of the chassis leg.

You are going to have to find another 1200 to get this part from.

If you drive your car on a public road, you are trusting other road users to respect the effort etc you have put into your car, that is always a risk. The older the cars get..the higher the risk.

Tell us where you live, maybe someone on here has a spare in their garage.

What's a chassis leg? There are two NOS inner fenders for sale on eBay ($75 for both).

i live in jamaica and getting anypart for that type of car into the country is going to cost be very much.

Chassis leg is not a term used in USA. Which part is it?

I expect he's talking about the chassis rail. They get bent in offset frontal impacts.

The Inner Guards might be what he's looking for. He needs to talk to our other Carribean buddies.
