I have a 1972 orange 1200 coupe as a club car, has a roll cage and two seats, could get it up to Taupo if needed.

Paul.

Turns out they are looking for a 1200 wagon to begin filming in a few weeks.

Kiwis, let the wagon boys know about this opportunity! Maybe it's an exposee on legal track racing ... all you wheel-standing wagon owners maybe should NOT apply.

bummer, my uncle's car is a coupe! I don't know any wagons locally.
I got passed by a blue 1200 wagon on the napier taupo road one day, it was hauling. Sounded like it had a turbo engine. I think it's a napier car maybe?

that could quite possibly be from palmie, seeing as there are 2 blue wagons in palmie modded up quite substantialy in the engine bay, one does under 14 sec on the 1/4, the othe rim not too sure, a little quicker i think.
