I have almost finished putting my a15 back together for my ute and I have installed an electric fuel pump. It says on the box that to is operating pressure is from 3-4psi. Would this to much for dhla dellortos? Do I need a regulator for high rpm? and would there be a difference in hp with one?
thanks

I have the same setup in mine with webers...I havent seen the need for a fuel regulator at this stage but its highly recommended. Have you installed one of the NZ made fuel-flo ones...Ifso and you are using for street you should be OK. If you are racing it it may be wise to fit a fuel reg, they are only $52 AUS....

I set mine at 3.5 psi and it ran best....yours could be different based on tuning/jets but I ran mine a little high to overcome a lean condition rather than try to hunt down new Dellorto jets

you only need a reg if the pump is making over 5psi, as over 5psi will overcome needle and seat i believe
