so, which car will survive this 180km/h crash into something solid anyway
sorry mate, just having fun
It was quite some years ago that i watched in horror as a 1937 Fiat Topilino bounced off the Armco after having just passed through the traps at 150mph [240k] It rolled three times end for end before coming to rest on it's left side.
The very shaken driver simply opened the door & climbed out. All the major components were still in their respective places in the chassis, although the car was a write off. It was registered, it was blown hemi powered, & it was street driven [sometimes]
I guess that at 180k, in a frontal impact, the engine of a large car would end up in the front seat, but i suspect out Datsun engines would end up in the boot /trunk.
As far as the driver was concerned, it would all be academic.
