There used to be a place in the US called Malvern Racing that had a lot of performance gear for A series engines, cannot seem to track them down any more.

Does anyone know if they are still in existence, or have changed names?

The reason I am looking for them is too try and source a steel crank for an A12, so if anyone knows where else I might be able to get one let me know.

To the best of my knowledge, all modern crankshafts are made of steel. Some are cast steel, some forged steel, & some special ones are made from a billet of steel, but they are all steel.

The original crank in the 1200 is a forging, & these are flogged mercilessly in racing engines without any need for special care. As long as the damn thing has oil pressure, you cant kill it, so what did you have in mind?

The fact that these cranks are so good has meant that there is no market for special cranks, so as far as i know,... no one makes any. The only special cranks that i know of were the few that were made by Nissan for the A13 engines that were used in formula ? racing engines. These engines normally run at speeds that i would not likely see in a missed shift, the cranks cost a kings ransom, & are made of unobtanium. Rotsa ruck even finding one.

Unless you are building an all out nitro burner, the original crank should serve you well.

The sellers claim this is a Nismo 'option' crank:

Don't know if there's truth in it or what displacement it's for.
