Just for everyones info if you don't already know, there is a green Datsun 1200 ute with a CA18DET in the June issue of Fast Fours.

i went through my friends stash of magazines yesterday, found some hot dattos. Like this green 1200 ute, with a twin webered A15. And some others...

might borrow them and scan them.

That green datto is Paul Traynor. He has sold the car since. He sold me the engine, gearbox mounts and clutch adaptor for the ca18det goin in my datto. Pretty sweet mounts, nice deep green powder coat and cost next to nothing. He also got me the bluebird bellhousing for the gearbox swap. Jesse, I have got some of those really old issues of Hot4s and Fast Fours. They are great. Its all old school stuff like twin Dellortos and Webers. There are plenty of utes in there as well with A12/14 and 15's and one with a Z18. Its pretty cool to see other peoples Dattos in magazines to get a few ideas. Also got some newer issues of Hot4s with the turbo powered utes. Also one shmick ute powered by a 2ltr Ford Escort motor. But I reckon Hot4s is a shyte mag now, too much glitter and rice stuff for me, you know bodykits, doof doof pro-logic systems and that crap that slows the car down. Go ZOOM Magazine.

I wish I had the time and pateience to sit in front of the puter and scan all these articles for everyone but alas I dont, sorry.

in the same mag as that green ute there is an ad for diecast 1200 coupe models, cant remember what the page number or anything is but its towards the back, oh yeah, they are something like $79.95, i could go downstairs to get it and find full details but thats too far
