what do you guys reckon the worst smell coming a car is? I reckon its gota be gearbox oil, i bloody hate that stuff it makes me feel like i wana puke everytime i smell it!!!

The oil that comes out of the conrod bolts of an old engine.

Gear oil wins, hands down.
Blowby is a close second, it makes you feel quite sick.
Smoked clutch is a pretty close third. Nothing like the stench when you seperate the motor and box to change a buggered clutch, it's pretty revolting.

yeas thats another, the oil out of the conrods... its all grey-black and it stinks sh|t

Although dirty diff oil is up there, especially the stuff when a cars been sitting there for millions of years and leaks everywhere ewwww!!!

overcharging battery? i thought that would win hands down. Smells like a constant bad egg fart, the whole time your driving, until your eyes start watering and your nose hairs burn away. woooooo.....

Clutch dust soaked in gearbox oil isn't too nice. Burning clutch would have to be my pick.

burning coolant on a hot block is pretty sweetly sickening.. lingers for days.
Old engine and gearbox oil do suck though...
