The A10 Stanza is the American 78-81 510 (HL510). That's what brakes are in Tim's ChickenHawk.

I know it has been asked before but I don't recall seeing an answer, is the Stanza the same as the US 210 (which would be chassis code B-310) or is it some other vehicle.

actually remembering back the 1200 ute diff is a diffrent thing all together and yes everyone seems to think it is plenty strong enough. word of warning about that "1200 modifications" site, it is very very helpful but when someone says "bolts straight on" or something of the like its not always true as me and my brother in law have found with a couple of things.

With a few additional mods to this successful combo, it is possible to mount 11 inch rotors and 4 spot alloy sumitomo calipers off a R32 skyline. (it works really well)

15's easily, but some types of 14's (very very close). I myself run 15's

quite a bit of machining. the rotors are mounted to the back of vanette hubs as they have the correct offset, 4 stud and use the same wheel bearings ( but not oil seal). make sure the stuts are "armstrong" as they have the larger stub axle. (It should be stamped on the strut tube).
A bracket needs to be made to mount the calipers (I used 8mm, grade 250 plate steel) as the strut mounting points are 90mm centre to centre and the calipers mounting points are 100mm centre to centre. As well as using high tensile (8.8) bolts.

Ok, so I'm on a reconaissance mission at the junkyard today.
I found a few B310/210's some PS12/200sx's and an 81 WHLA10/ 510 wagon.
The A10 wagon has leafs with a rear end that looks a bit bigger than the 1200, but not as big as an old 510 wagon or 520 diff.
Is this diff something I should be interested in? It seems to have a very low ratio, like 3.3:1 which it to low.
I'd like to get the 200sx struts with the vented disks and larger calipers. I dont think they will fit in my 13" wheels and the lower control arms are too long.
The b310/210 struts and lower control arms seem to be the best upgrade for now. As far as I can tell, with my cheap caliper and tape measure, the 200sx struts will bolt on to the b310/210 steering knukle. So I should be able to upgrade some more in the future.
Thanks for letting me spew, my wife doesnt care to hear any of this.
