in all the 1200's ive jumped in ive always been able to shake the steering wheel up and down a bit, due to that bush at the top of the steering column im told, has anyone found a solution to this as ive been told the part is unavailable to replace and all wrecks seem to have same symptoms.

take the bearing out go to a bearing supplier (cbc bearings maybe) there are lots out there. If you give them a sample they should be able to match it up with something.
