Hey,
Just a quick question for the 1200 ute gurus, obviously the front bumpers on them are fully polishable (Im looking at one with black bumper) but was just wondering about those little bits on the back that sit under the tail lights? Not quite sure what they are called but they sit under the tail lights at that back, just wanting to know if i could polish/chrome them. . Also can you buy new taillights with chrome surrounds?

Mike.

The ute bumper could either be painted over chrome, but new replacement bumpers come "unchromed" and are generally painted.

As for the rear quarter bumper things. Those are plastic, and can still be ordered from Nissan, or purchased from Various panel places. I think it looks better without them, but I'd probably change my mind after reversing, and running into something without any bumper.

taillights: Chrome surrounds is Nissan original.. The painted ones (black) are also aftermarket.

The guard mounted blinker lights, do not come with the chrome trim on the South African Bakkies.

When taking off the rear quater panel things, would you have to do some panel work to smooth over the left space? Wouldn't there be holes left and need filling in and re painting?
