Is it an open exhaust ?

If not then you could be ok , but it must be on the drives side because I don't think that the cops would much like you putting exhaust gasses on the pedestrians walking a long.

Hmmm? Strange, where do you get this info that no one has ever turbocharged a SR20DE before?

Strangely, the point that i made remains valid none the less. Isn't that odd? Especially since Nick has pointed out that his engine is in fact a SR20DE

All the same I cant wait. Will be good to see if anything at all has change within the last 3 and 1/2 weeks since I was down there getting parts for my 1200 wags.
I hope petrol prices get a bit cheaper for you in the coming weeks.
I don't pay for petrol as both the vehicle & fuel are supplied, so i don't care what it costs, but thanks for caring.

The responce i provided in this thread was not exclusively directed at any one person in particular as i fully realise that there are others that read these replies, & some may find the information usefull. Some of these people may actually have turbo equiped engines & fitting a turbo to a SR20DE does not automaticly make it an SR20DET. It makes it a turbo equiped SR20DE as the genuine 'T' engine has other factory fitted features that are diferent from the NA engine.
Geez,... get a life.

Mentioning the trip to Cooma? Well, it wasn't for your benefit as there are others who are interested, judging from the pm's & e-mail that i have received on the subject.
You are not the center of the universe, & it was a last minute attempt to let at least some people know that i would be away from my home computer for a little while. Why is this a problem for you?

Yeah thats the same as the Tassie rules and regulations... NIS15L, my mate has dumped it there aswell on his LX Torana hatch, but he also fitted a 'dummy' 2" exhaust at the rear of the car, its only about 250mm long tho so it kinda looks like theres a straight thru exhaust but theres not! Keeps the cops happy and no one has picked up on it....yet!

Oh golly gosh, i had no idea that no SR20DE has ever recieved a turbo instalation after it was installed in another car by a car enthusiast. I shall give myself an uppercut so that you can feel good about pointing out the obvious, that being, when built, the SR20DE was unturbo'd. I shjould have known better. [ouch]

Strangely, the original point that i made remains valid none the less. Isn't that odd?

I'l see if i can get some more pictures from Cooma while i am there during the next week or so

If that wasnt directed at me, I dont know who it was at then.
Did something I posted in another thread make you get all cut up? Sure seems that way.
The part about Cooma I am sure is directed at me. ( was a strange place to post it, if you wanted others to know you were heading down )
Wouldnt have to do with the fact that a few months ago I asked if you could take some photos for me if you went down there again before me.
Am I right in believing your all cut up and thats your way of getting back, by hinting " you think I am gonna take photos for you now? "
Bad luck, I already skipped through town a few weeks ago.

Maybe during working hours while you are in the area. So what gives? Why did you suggest we could go halves on costs in the trip by going with me the next time I went?

Geez,... get a life.

All I did was point out a fact about the SR20DE.
So whats that comment for? Maybe you should remember it for the next time you tell us some story about SR20DET's or how you narrow a diff not shorten it, Also how you cant narrow a diff, you narrow the third member - the housing - the axle assembely, not the pumpkin.
Geez get a life.

Now I saved the best for last.

I have never said it was a problem. All is said was I dont know what relevence it has to this topic. Your latest reply to it, has shown me the true relevence of it - not to the thread but to me.
The funniest part is

hahahaaaaa last minute

Dont get cut up mate. Stay stock. We dont want to see you lose value and become scrap.
And believe me, You are good value

Sorry Nick I cant add anything more on back pressure. Although dodgeman seems to have some pressure buildup issues.

You can't help yourself. I offered you the hand of friendship, not once, but twice & you still can't help yourself.
When you wanted info about the Cooma cars, particularly the ute, i offered it to you without hesitation & even encouraged your actions. What was in it for me? Nothing.
What have you done for me,... well, in all fairness, you have done everything i ever asked for,.... nothing

The faulty modem in my work computor has now been replaced & i can now access the net, but last sunday, it couldn't. I was fortunate in geting it fixed today & it was unexpected. Does that answer your question?

I tried to count up all the people that you have had 'overheated' discussions with, but gave up when it was obvious that it was way ahead of anyone else. Quite possibly more than any ten of our members combined. If i remember rightly, you even ended up abusing someone that you were allegedly defending, not that you were asked to.

Go on, read back through your own posts & have a look at how many people you have denigrated, abused, vilified, & tried to humiliate. I know that you are good with the computer, so it wouldn't be too hard to come up with a number.
Then ask yourself,.... why. Why do feel so compelled to do that, particularly with your obsession of getting in the last word. Go ahead & check that too.

I know that this will bring forth another tirade of vilification, & possibly some abuse.
Why is this? Why do you find it necessary to generate arguments all the time, & yes, you do generate them, needlessly in so many instances. Do you have an overwhelming need to feel superior, do you feel unloved & want to get back at the world? I don't know why you are as you are, but is a very sad thing whatever the reason.

Few would doubt your talents & ability, but you gotta get an attitude adjustment before you make an enemy of just about everyone you meet.

Out of respect to the others in this hijacked thread, for me, it ends here. So there you have it, a free shot, knock yourself out.

Peace brother.

Hahhaaaa, all this because of my post below;

Surely it cant be? You must have really been cut from the other thread
I didnt even try.

So I have a bad rep for discussions. Oh well. Thats me.
Just like I have duely noted about yourself - The Rodders of whom we have talked, told me about the kind of person Dodgeman was known as, and I gotta say " You fit that bill to a T "
Have you ever stopped to think about "HOW" and Why I said I wasnt interested in wiring up your 1000 Coupe?

Get your balls out of your purse, Say what you feel just like I do. ( I respect that more )
You obviously felt cut, There is no way my post to this topic could start this joke.
Im glad to see your modem is all fixed now

Now all I need is a real hardcore comeback.
Oh yeah!
Go on, Have your last say, Have a free shot, Knock yourself out.
Yeah Hardcore Get a life as you say.
