this must have been covered many times already, but i need a quick answer. but jus wunna know can an A12 be bored out to 76mm????

And how do tell the difference between Forged and cast pistons??

yes. The A12 has very thick walls and can support this. As far as telling the difference? put both side to side and look at them. Usually the forged unit would be aluminum and lighter than a stock one.

ok thanks..i got some Low Comp E Series 76mm pistons to day and some are lighter than some and have other different markings (will post some pics 2mor).

lighter? aluminium?
im pretty sure for one that a forgie is heavier, hence why they are stronger and arent they made of forged steel, not aluminium. i dont think aluminium would be up to taking the punishment a forged piston can handle....
