4:8 is from vanette (h165) all our H190 are 5:1 locally.

Cressida boxes are like gold dust on this island...literally only a handful around..

rocket box was leftovers from my mk1 escort days..basically its a 2l 4speed box with gearkit. similar to merkur 2.3 turbo but small bearings. bellhousing is standard 53 cut to correct lenght, with plate welded and bearing and bolt housing done on mill..
will take pics when lift out the engine.

Strictly a circuit racer, have wide choice of turbos. 2jz CT12b, garrett GT17, IHI RHF5, garrett Gt2052, TD05HR-16G6-10.5T(evo 6), garrett GT2554R...dont want it to be too laggy out of corners but still make decent top end power. Planned rev limit is 8500rpm.

head is an ex N/a racing 0val port.

thanks for your input.

hows the characteristics vs A series?

Its not as fast as my race A15..but for stock engine with few issues it wasn't bad on times...engine really starts to pull from 3500 but the engine would not rev pass 7200rpm.

Since then I have dismantled the engine and found a few problems(joys of used engines). Next race meet is 30th Oct so will see how it goes when rebuild using the b14 ga15 head and ga16 bottom.
