3 different types

2 take the dual bottle jap style masters and the last one takes the PBR aussie master.

G'day also the booster is bigger on a 1978 120y coupe than the 1977 120y coupe, as I own one of each of these models.
They both still use the dual single brake fluid resivoirs though as I am sure the last of the 120y sedans used a PBR square brake fluid resivoir.
Not sure of the size of the booster on a 1978 120y sedan though.

Yep! the Aussie made Sedans DO have a rectangular topped master cylinder

that is the engine bay of my March '77 120Y four door sedan known as "The
Defect"

I also have a July '75 120Y sedan the brakes, diff and front suspension are quite different!...

is the (jap) 180B brake master cylinder the same/viable replacement as the '75-76 japanese 120Y one - I am thinking of going to 'L" - L18 power and want better brakes!

I also have a spare BW 120Y diff!...
