Dee put a post up a while ago on ford CFI on datsun engines. So i thank Dee for this idea.
I have a12 that i have been rebuilding as a budget build.
I have got on to some turbos at a very cheap price & this is what got me thinking.
I will fit a turbo to the A12,using the ford CFI as a blow through set up. I will use a delco computor wich i already have. The computor will will fire 1 injector up to a sertain rev range & when boost comes in the other injector will come on to keep the air/fuel mixture right. I have most of the gear & should beable to get the rest of it from pickapart it has to work. & cheap I recon i will do the whole thing for under a grand. Except the engine (I know the right people)
If any one has any sugestions feel free to coment.

Experiment and see how much fuel pressure the injectors can handle without leaking - before you set your sights on a boost level. I would also experiment and see how much boost these injectors can handle before they are blown into. ( probly a bit harder than the fuel pressure test. But an air blower might work.)
The only other thing I would consider and I am sure you already realise, The problem with staged injection and boost, and the possible outcome if an injector/bank was to fail.

The more experimentation done on this CFI, will help D to see if other injectors will easily fit.

hmmm, nice idea, i didnt like the CFI idea before, because i dint see the benefit, but for a turbo setup it would defnately be a whole lot better than carby!

who's tuning the delco? (i get mine done by the 1600 workshop)
