Has anyone tried the conversion described on M.Pots 1200 mods site with the XB-XF discs on the 180b strut?

1200 Mods brakes page (hopefully)

Just thinking it would be easier than restudding a hilux diff.

Also would there be better (easier to find) calipers than the p76 items?

Any other suggestions????

Thanx Aaron

I assume they used the whole falcon hub assembly?

P76 calipers I think are the same Girlock slider as Ford units of the era, so I'm confused...

The quality of the info there is pretty dubvious - do your homework before forking out for any parts.

Falcon calipers have a stupid mounting system where 1 bolt goes thru the stub axle.
P76 calipers have conventional mounts

I'll try to remember to get some pics and compare the HQ caliper to the P76. I think the only difference is the pipe inlet position.
