Im just considering what brake booster to run and was thinking about a remote setup.
I already have the maddat clutch master so there is not much use in doing that remote which is the more common thing to do. So any booster i use would make the tolerences very close I was told the 180b would work but its very tight and that usaully means untidy.
I want thing to look nice and neat so im wondering if anyone has used or seen a remote setup and the pros and cons of this setup.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

I made inquiries about a remote booster not long ago and was told that they are only for a single brake line.

That is only for the front or the back not both. If you wanted to boost both you would need 2 remote boosters

I don't know if this is 100% correct but that is what I was told.

Hope it helps.

I am running a 5 litre booster for my ute and there is another brake booster hidden up under the dash inside the cabin.
there is brakes there all the time, something that is often overlooked.
we should hook up and you can have a good look at the setup on my ute as i know you are doing the same conversion.

On my 1000 I will be running XF - XD Falcon disks and calipers on the front and drums on the back. I am running a 120Y master with a PBR VH40 under the dash for the front and unboosted for the rear drums. There is a remote booster capable of front and back but I forget its number. My brake supplier said my rear drums will be fine without a booster. And if I ever bolt on some rear disks I can just add a VH44 for the back.

Look up BURTS BROS BRAKES in the yellow pages theres another one witha different name in the same add both can help you with a doubble (F&B) booster I inquired not too long ago, new they were something like $450AU thats whats held me back from gettin one.
If you cant find it ill try dig out the number just let us know.

Yeah Burt Bros is where I went and they quoted around $400 for the double about 2 years ago when I got all my stuff, and about $350 for the VH40, I ended up getting mine at B&R Brakes as it was about $300 Trade.
You could try and ring PBR who make them in Melbourne and see how much it will cost to send one up to you, might be cheaper might be more?
