I used to agree with my old datto, a15, webbers, extractors and the old welded diff.
I used to pray for rain, now I pray for none.
It's just a pain in the arse
I wish yous plenty of wetness as long as it steers clear of me.
Happy Rain dancing.

i agree, wet roads= datsun fun, but i hate having an open diff, coz when i give it sum only one wheel spins but when the second wheel kicks in unexpectingly it gets funner, the best road in the wet are the really rough roads, i went to my old estate and sliding all ove the place having a blast, then i came across a nice little intersection, i am not a very good driver but this day i did the perfectest donuts i had ever done, nice tight little circles stayin in the one spot, i felt i couldhave kept going round and round for a week, untill i noticed about 5 old people sitting in their front yard starin at me,

Yes a lot of fun ( good drifting practice ) but not much fun getting caught out in it with a hi performance car with a big stall , big tyres and a locked diff. Then it gets scary

its always fun till someone gets hurt, that someone in my case was my axle and my nice superlites, the utes are so unpredictable sometimes id hate to be stuck in the wet with a worked engine ina ute, its bad enough with a stuffed a12

a datsun with a A12 and a locker is the best combination for drifting in the wet, as when you put the A15- A14 in with a locker it just loops to much as of the power. well thats what ive noticed neway??
maybe just more practice needs to be done.

FJ20T 1200 ute bald tyres pooring rain=sideways in 5th gear at 120kph now thats fun.
i could get it to slide whenever i wanted any gear.
PS dont think you dont get tyre wear in the rain i once blew a set while doing Helis in the pooring rain.
Cheers Luke

you have to learn respect for the dato in the rain, as i did, the hard way

driving home and got to a traffic circle thought this was the place, pulled off the belted second as i was going round, only to have the arse whip round so fast i could not catch it, so turned with the slid only to stop facing the on-coming traffic, that was now catching me quickly

thats my close one
