Hi,
Would there be a step by step web page or someone that can tell me how to intall the stanza brakes on my 1200 sedan?
How much work is there involved, time it will take, parts required to buy or find and things like that.
Also what disc brake rear diff can bolt on or can be installed with the least amount of work if such a thing.

Richard

I'm doing this swap at the moment. I also had to convert from a single circuit master cylinder to dual circuit.

It's taken me about 3-4 days (I'm slow, and not very handy with tools). I'll list what I had to buy:

Parts:
-Stanza struts and lower control arms, rubber brake lines
-120y Castor rods (late model type)
- 13 inch or bigger wheels and tyres (to fit over brakes)

Tools:
-spring compressors (about $40 repco)
-10mm brake line spanner ($15 repco)
-brake bleeding kit, brake fluid
-normal spanners, jack stands.

Any other questions ask away.

you'll need 120Y castor arms because the 1200 ones are the wrong length. get new BJs while you're at it too.

you can either use a 180B or a late sunny master cyl to fill the bigger girlock calipers. brake bias isn't an issue - well, it wasn't on my sedan anyways.

the springs will need to be lowered 43mm exactly to bring the front of the car back down to std ride height, so if you want to lower it and keep your shocks working properly you'll need shortened stroke shockies (bilstein / koni etc) at about $400 a pair.

this is a great upgrade and stopped my little 1200 with no fade all day around wanneroo raceway. i was only running a mild A12 though...
