The 120Y diff [H150] will not fit in the ute housing [H165 diff]
I have not heard of mini spools being available for the H150 diff, but with the popularity of the H165, such a thing may actually exist.

I hope your not intending to drive the locked diff on the street because they are a real pain in the butt.
Parking is a nightmare and the wheels chirp around every corner.
Dodgeman would a bluebird centre fit into his ute housing?

My series one & two Bluebird [910] parts book says that, with the exception of the four speed wagon, ALL other Bluebirds came with the H165. Most were 3.9 to 1 ratio, but four speed poverty pack sedans had 3.7 to 1 ratio.

The aforementioned four speed wagons came with a H190 in 3.9 to 1 ratio.

My book does not cover the series three model, so i can't advise on these.

remember that most 120Ys in Aus wil have the musch bigger BorgWarner diff. Its only the fully imported coupes that had the puny H150.

The complete 120Y diff will fit the 1200, but you will also need the tailshaft (different flange). I think the ute had a different handbrake cable arrangement, which might cause a little headache.

The only 120Y's that had the B/W rear axle assembly were thye Australian assembled sedans from July 1976. I think that all other body types in the B210 were imported for the full life of the model.

The Warner diferential is not all that big & the H150 is not as small, or as puny, as some would have us believe. It all depends on how much power is applied. & how much traction is available.

Series 1/2 bluebird sedans and wagons have H165's that fit in the ute diff housing.

Series 3's have the H190.
