The thread was started about a bloke inquring about how far his exhaust pipe should be dumped if he were to do this, i.e asking about back pressure, legalities etc - so far the inquiries have been legit and wise........
Ok im going to be the one to ask, how/why/when did this cafussel ( one of my words :P) all start? Sounds a bit silly and odd to me but alass sh|t happens.......The mere 18 year old telling the older more elite few to take the subject else where, gawd what will others think!!

I have one question, phunkdokta, why does the links in your signature come up with porn ?!! Not to bad tho!! but why?!

Maybe going to the pub tonite wasnt a good idea.....you tell me!!

Dave

Demojob - It's pretty hard to tell from that photo but it looks like it may be far enough away to be legal if it was on the driver's side.

Spray you some paint down the exaust from front to back, run the stew out of it , then look underneath ,wherever the paint is burned off -----cut it.

Man, this has been an interesting thread.

Forgive me if I've missed any pertinent comments throughout, but I don't believe an engine needs any back pressure. However, with the reduction in backpressure comes an increase in horsepower and a decrease in torque.

I guess it is up to the individual application as to which is the optimal setup. If you want power high up in the rev range then little backpressure will most likely not be an issue.

Cause it can. Does that answer your question datrat dave?

Now about going to the pub. Did you enjoy it? Did it relieve any back pressure? If so I would say it was a good idea for you to have gone there. I often go there to play pool with friends.

Now I have one question, datrat dave, what does any of this have to do with the thread?!

Now that the BS has cleared. I also see that subject got changed to ''The dodgeman cry me a river show'' no prizes for guessing who did that.

The exhaust system looks spot on and thats what I would go with.

Dam straight there is no prizes for that. Reason being is that it has been shown even a dumbshit can put 2 and 2 together and look across to see who infact it was that first posted with the subject change.

Anyone else? Looks like the Bandwagon is in town.
