Great Ocean Rd Cruise 2005
saturday the 9th October 2005

start : torquay, BBQ breakfast provided 9:00am. BBQ will cost a couple $$ to cover snags and drinks, or feel free to bring your own.
depart : 10:00am at the latest.
"cruise" : Apollo Bay for lunch, chat, stretch, toilet stop.
"drive" : thru windy roads inland towards colac, where we will regroup and decisions can then be made as to whether you choose to drive straight back to melbourne or back to torquay for another BBQ, chat stretch, before heading home.

the "cruise" section will be along The Great Ocean Road, the speed limit is now 80km for the majority of it, so sit back, relax and enjoy the views.
the "drive" section will be along some windy roads inland thru to Colac. These roads will be the ones to test your stuff on.

route notes will be provided at torquay, as to will phone numbers for if something goes wrong.

any bodies welcome, any queries or suggestions please post em up, especially for peoples preference for saturday or sunday.

looking forward to seeing some new cars as well as the trusty usuals so lets make this a good one guys and gals

g'day Adam, the day is yet to be finalised ... saturday or sunday ?? although if it happens on the sat i'll be around sunday as i live in torquay i've done the drive - adelaide to melbourne along the coast and it's not a bad one as for accomodation pretty much all the townships once you're in vic have something to offer from caravan parks, pub rooms to 4 and 5 star hotels so you shouldn't have any problems finding somewhere to sleep.

would be excellent to manage to have an interstater show for the cruise .... can't bring any others with ya ??
