I guess W.A means west africa?

I assume Western Australia. Ring up an importer or get on some Silvia forums and get one, there are plenty available from Perth or Sydney or Melbourne, or Adelaide.

The 6 speed is a lot bigger. Would require more mods to tunnel.

Cheers,
Chris

ILooked into this too. There are heaps around sydney for about $1000. Trouble is that they are much weaker than an SR20 5 spd, and it would require lots of tunnel mods. Pure wank factor only...and i know no respectable club memeber would go for that.

Auto tunnel to begin with, and cut top side of tunnel at shifter and welded a box section onto the tunnel.

Not too hard, requires 1.5 inch cut into the double panel in line with the front seat support rail. Moving of handbrake back 2 inches.

Got photos:

The sr20det 6 speed is weaker than the 5 speed as well... 1-3 gears inside the box are a little thinner than the 5 speed to make room for the 6th gear... a lot of the s15 guys blow second gear and then replace them with the s13/s14 5 speed...

what i would like to know is what 4 speed gearbox u r changing from...
do u have an auto behind that sr???? how does it go?? the auto would be very cruisy in a 1200... and only a little bit slower...
