Hey guys
new to the forum and was just reading some old posts. Came accross some talk back in 2005 of some LSD's being made for the H165 ute diff. Just wondering if it ended up happening and how they performed and if it was possible to get my hands on one. Cheers

They did get made, & as far as I know, they were all sold. From memory, just ten were produced.

topgear is the man but he said if he makes anymore then it will not be till the new year. i already asked... but if enough people want one then maybe he might do it earlier?? at $800 they are not adsactly cheap but worth the investment. i am very interested in the feedback from people who bought the first batch. how they work??? what engine are they behind??? i want mine for a heavily modded turbo a seires... 200 at the tyres is the goal!

They are still $400 cheaper than getting a Nismo one sent out from Japan, and thats without adding in shipping.

Actually the first batch were $900 (incl delivery to my door) but they're still cheap considering the alternatives for LSDs.

I haven't used mine yet, but as I've said in other threads, the workmanship is top notch!

Have sent a pm to topgear, just waiting for a reply. Still would like to hear from those people that originally bought one, on how they performed and behind what engine.

Damn right. For what amounts to a hand made item from a quality manufacturer, $900 is quite cheap as LSD's go.
Budget $1500 for a new one from anywhere else & if it comes in that cheap, then consider it Xmas.
