Would this supercharger be suitable for charging an A15 or do you think its a touch on the large side?

Have been trawling the web and all I can find is that it is an Eaton blower on a 1.8 engine pushing 148bhp. I cant find any figures on the charger itself or its model number. Any input at all would be appreciated.

Maybe 1 inlet 2 outlets. Its for a V6 motor isn't it? Did you buy it?

That was my first thought too. The same guy is selling the rest of the engine and it looks like an inline 4 cylinder. Another thought was that maybe it was a bypass system but with with no clutch on the SC I dont see the point.
Yes, I did buy it. For that kind of money if it wasnt any good I could sell on with no loss.
I had a chat with the guy first aswell. It seems it runs on its own oil and is "filled for life".

nice perchase, maybe strip the bottom plumbing off and have a look but it makes sense to me that it can only have an inlet and an outlet unless iether is split into two for some reason

I found this statement on the Eaton website:-

"Additionally, the supercharger incorporates a bypass system to reduce air handling losses when boost is not required, resulting in better fuel economy"

So im thinking it may be this

Yeah, I think on blowthrough supercharger set ups you need to have a bypass system.
If you will be using a carb, make sure that the blower can be used in a drawthrough aplication.

OK, after more research I have discovered it is a bypass valve needed in a blow through system to prevent overboost during idleing, so that can be done away with.
Has anybody heard of any problems using drawthrough on an Eaton charger?

As I am planning some engine upgrades I thought it would be a good idea to be able to keep an eye on my vitals.
Off to Ebay then and bought myself an oil temp gauge and an oil pressure gauge..

Here I have attached the senders onto the oil pump and fitted to the block to check the clearence of the adaptor to the block......
