Hey everyone,
My names Brad and im from Wagga Wagga
im pretty new to this whole datsun thing but thought i would post up my project i have at the moment.
I've always loved the 1200 utes and when i sold my last car had a little extra cash so i thought i would get one.
My best mate Wardy (also on the forums with the other 1200 ute) also bought one the same weekend and theyre both sitting in the shed together so that was more of an influence to get it underway to haha

anyway here it is. its a 1976 model. dead stock, lugs and everything shaved off the tub, tailgate is getting shaved, crack free dash, brand new gaurds, and as of tonight will be RUST FREE (got 1 more hole to weld up in the floor), everything is in awesome condition. unsure what engine i am going to chuck into it for now. See what funds i have when it comes to that time. im also a bit undecided on the colour to paint it to but its going to be a bit of a project for a while i think so i would probably change my mind 15 times anyway.

so let me know what you think

Hi Brad,
Welcome to the club.
I'm going to post a pair of stanza struts on e bay soon. If you havent already got a disc front end, this may be worth considering.
I've seen a photo on this site of a metalic green ute.
I thought it was a real head turner.
Anyhow best of luck and enjoy your project!

Is this going to replace the S15 haha. Looks like you've got plenty to do and it also looks like you've got a pretty good base to start from! good luck!
