i just pulled the kilometer meter out of the speedo to zero it but upon reinstill it seems to be sloppy and fall out easily. please help!!

I just checked thru

-Gregorys 1000/1200
-Genuine 1000
-Genuine 1000 parts book

and couldnt find any speedo explosion diag. And i dont think you would find one!

Just make sure you have all the little R clips back in and everything is clicked together the same. Maybe pull it apart and re-install... you may fluke it!

I could put a bunch of matchheads soaked in petrol inside a bit of copper pipe and tape it to a speedo, then light it. That might give you some idea...

Just buy another one if yours is broken. If you are clocking the odometer, it's not hard to do in a 1200. I did it on an old speedo.

The factory manuals don't have an exploded diagram either. It's not designed to be repaired in the field.

Repaired in the field DD?
What he's trying to say is he's given the speedo a haircut and stuffed it up putting it back together ha ha,don't advertise what you have done too much,Big Brother removes testicles for less.

As has been said,pull it out again and check all the clips....Good Luck
