Seening through the forum that sum guys are removing the gutters from around the turret, (seen a green ute silver roof top no gutters)

yeah it looks good, nice smooth lines,

BUT would it be ok to do that, with rego when it comes around ETC

Usually it would help you with rego as these gutters can harbour quite a lot of rust. If you are going to remove them yourself just remember to cut them out in small sections, adding a couple of spot welds each time, otherwise the panels will warp. I've seen this happen a few times.

Just consider the rain factor though. It looks great, but with no A/C in my ute I get a little wet because of it. It's worth it to me, but some may not like it.

i hated it in the rain the water runs strait off the roof on to me. then ifi put the window up the windows foged.

Not to sound like a smartarse or nothing, but if you drive in the rain with your windows down (even a tiny bit) there's a big chance you'll get wet.

My ute still has them and if I open the window even just a centimetre rain gets in. Makes me think that shaving them off would equate to bugger all difference.
