hey guys i dont wanna pull my diff out and have my ute off the road , so im after a diff to copie , ( going lsd r31 diff )

dont wanna pay to much around 30 bucks

bro are u off your head 30 bucks my mate got quoted 2500 bucks i got mine for 700 unless u have a splining machine dicks to 30 bucks

im sure more people would be willing to part with a sedan diff than a ute diff, and a sedan one will be just as good to copy to cut the r31 diff down

or...
swap axles left to right, so that the short axle is the new long axle
cut the long axle side of the diff housing(drivers side) down 50mm to suit the short axle
cut down and respline the long axle 155mm shorter
cut the short axle side of the housing down 105mm

that should get you pretty damn close to stock width once the brakes are on
