Here goes, may as well start the process somewhere. Picked up this little baby last year, it was a one owner original and i have had many nights planning the build. Plans are simple as follows.

1. Paint - 2 Pack White, maybe silver
2. 15x6 Performance Superlites
3. Ute liner/Hard Lid
4. Retrim seats/carpet
5. Lower - 1.5 inches
6. Weber 32/36. Extractors / Exhaust

So far the front has been given disc brake upgrade and the TRX rims. I have collected new front guards, bonnet, tailgate and chrome trims. I am in 2 minds about the white as a new colour, mainly because the interior is in such good condition.

The plates are for my son, he's 4 !!! and its his.

I will add updates as they occur

Yes, the dash looks nice, brushed aluminum plate is a nice touch.

You can't go wrong with superlites (minilite style). I'd be doing that next for maximum effect.

will silver paint go well with the dash color? The white looks nice now, a respray should make it really shine.

Sounds like your having the same problem as me... what color goes with a perfect brown interior... I wanted to go the original baby blue but I just dont think it suites...

i reckon silver looks better in my very biased personal opinion but silver is one of the harder colours to get straight where as white is the easiest. maybe you could sell the interior and buy all new black parts, personally i don't like the brown at all.

Yep, he's already saying "It's my ute, not yours daddy"!!!.

Ironically the silver i want is yours Wolki, love the work you've done on it.

And yes the brown is not my first choice but the interior, apart from the seats is A1. I just cant justify recovering a mint dash. Maybe I'll just need to buy a crap dash to recover and offload mine!!

At this stage i've got 3 A12 engines to build with my automotive classes, in saying that we'll keep it pretty simple, carby, extractors and exhaust.
