Anyone found a crank pulley for a A15 to use with a super charger? Looking at getting a machine shop to cut down a double datsun pulley and graft the super charger drive pulley on to it. Thought someone may have found an easier way.

I was told that most pulley's are made from cast iron so welding is not a good option, also there could be a problem with the pulley being out of balance. By the way, nice ute.

If you're in Melbourne there is a place in Bayswater called Power Transmission & Belting Service 03 9762 0722

They would have just about any type of pulley type you require, if not they could probably make something up for you.

I just had a belt drive crank pulley made by them, cost me $85 + gst.

The dual pulley pulley isn't the magic bullet it should be for would be superchargers.
The outer pulley is hollow. I started off with an al alluminium pulley, with the ribbed blower belt pulley bolted to it. It had a speedy sleeve over it to protect it from being worn by the crank pulley seal. But this meant that the land was too thin in the valley of the keyway, and it blew out. So now I have a steel boss, with both an aluminium crank pulley, and blower pulley bolted to it. I could probably get you a sharp deal on having some made, but postage would kill it.
