dont use water, use good quality coolant or your head will corrode in no time.

pull out your oil dipstick and check there is no "cream" sludge on it, that would mean head gasket problem coolant getting into oil.

is the temp going up?

do u have an overflow bottle?

easiest way to tell if radiator is leaking is by looking at it, top it up get it hotand under pressure, and look around the radiator and all hoses for leaks.

Buy a preasure tester and attach it to the radiator pump it up to max preasure for system and see if the preasure goes down. If it goes down you have a leak.

Hi 1000Coupe

I dont have a overflow bottle, Usually it is not getting heated, yesterday i was on the way it started increasing accelerator by removing connection cap , then suddenly heater came up ?then i stopped and checked water and filled 2 ltrs , after that heater was normal 40% ,through out another 50KM.

Thanks

so u r saying it was getting hot and u stopped and opened the cap? If thats the case im thinking at least 1 of the 2 litres u lost was in the radiator and shot out when u opened the cap...?

u should have an overflow/return bottle, that would account for at least 500ml.

You just add a plastic tank somewhere, anywhere, and run the stock overflow hose into it. That's all

Be aware that after changing the coolant, it will burp out over a couple of days and need topping up, even a couple of liters. This is normal, and does not indicate a leak.

Do you have the right radiator cap on it, and not a recovery tank style cap on it.

Hi Guys,

I saw the Water Line which goes in to the AC unit has been removed from the connection and bended and winded to avoid water leak, will that be a reason to reduce my radiator water reduction ?

Thanks

Sumith
