Got beneath the Ute last night and wrote the number down on the diff: 43100-GG655 the little plate also states it is a 3.89 ratio.

Searched the Tech Wiki and did not find the number.

Well what this comes down to, I'm looking for a LSD insert for it.
Does anybody know if one of the H series inserts will work in it?

I know the people at PhantomGrip well and I have used their LSD conversions in a lot of FWD's that suffered bad with torque steer, PG almost totaly cured it, I could leave a 400m long set of dual stripes in my supercharged chrysler FWD... Its not as good as a clutch or mechanical diff but at R4k odd I will take the substantial benefit for what its worth.

I am having them build a unit for my Borg Warner (and possibly Dustbin) as I refuse to pay R10k+ for a mechanical diff to be custom made and I would never bastadise my car with Elpha parts... thats if you can even find an Elpha LSD that isnt stuffed or isnt owned by oval track boys.

My 2c

LOL, well said.
Me and superbin is speaking about the Phantom Grip pieces, let us know what sort of price you are looking for and what was required from your side for them to make it.

If it is cheaper to get these make than making itself, way not. The otherthoing that is sitting in the back of mind, do you have to make any changes to your diffs gears or not.

Nothing else changes, you slip it in, clip the locks off and go, I did about 50k miles in my chrysler before I sheared the pump drive off the converter, when I rebuilt the box the diff/PG was still like brand new... the people things say about them WRT to wear is rubbish

Will let you know next week

My guess is that is unique to Nissan South Africa. The "G" suggest B120/B140. 3.89 suggests it is a Borg Warner. See Suid Afrika 1200 met BW differentiële

Can you post photos of the diff center from front and rear views?
