From memory i think that some of wilwoods products arent ADR approved... i think it was restricted to brake lines and such...

why do you want wilwood stuff? 300zx brakes are pretty good, my coupe has 300zx disc 4 pot calipers and s13 pedders Xtreme struts, 5 stud conversion.

Cause Nissan 4 pistons require HUGE wheels too clear. And push the track out 6mm depending on how you mount the disc.

Exactly! Stay small and light! 13" wheels all the way! Plus the zx stuff can be almost 30 years old by now. The Wilwood products are top quality and not expensive(and brand new).I just put 280zx front struts and brakes on a friends 1600 wagon and I'd swear we've added 10 pounds a side. The 300 stuff's gotta weigh more than that. I've been loving my Wilwood setup, 10.25" disc under a 13" wheel and the whole thing weighs less than a stock 1200 strut! Pierre, if you can't get it locally, I may be able to help you out from here. None of those parts are particularly heavy, wouldn't be too bad too ship I think.

the wilwood dynalite 4 pot calipers are great, light and as reliable as those oem brakes. i've had a set on my car for years not a bit of trouble ever.

the calipers loaded are lighter than 2lbs a side. it feels like its made of plastic, but is hard as stone. amazing engineering, and about 1/5th what brembos cost, for nothing better.

the rumor about how they arent good for street use because they dont have seals or whatever is like when HID lights were illegal in the US because thy dont have filaments and the law required filaments.

Lowtech I will most probably have too take you up on that offer. Suppliers here have proved too be un-helpful. I'll sort out the geometry side of things and get back too you mate. Mounting the caliper has proved more difficult than I initially realised.

ADR can jam it. The rules are controversial and don't make sence in some ways.

on 280xz turbo struts the adaptor plate for the wilwoods is a flat piece of metal you could make with hand tools ( it would be slow, but not impossible )

how much would a pair of 4 pistons wilwoods to clear a 30mm disc go for? and a pair a twin piston ones to suit an 18mm disc(rears)?

be interesting to see if they would take up less room then the 300zx calipers and they would obviously be lighter
