starter motor?

howdy.
thought my battery had died so i got a new one and put it in my 120Y
still wont turn over even though the lights on the dash come on.
my mate said this might mean the starter motor?
are these hard to get hold of? where would be best?

places like malz,supershit, repco or whatever they all do manufacturers or refurbished ones

but the best thing to do is short is out and see if the motor spins if not then yes something wrong, usually just the solenoid on it is stuck so strike it with a hammer to loosen, if it still doesnt work then get anotherone if you dont know how to fix it yourself

usually around 100 to 150 depending on the place...or fix them your self for a few bucks depending on what is wrong with it. All comes down to how good you are with those type of things

HEY.
yeah took the starter motor apart.
cleaned it all out, got it runnig sweet now. think it just needed some t.l.c
